Johann Jakob Haug (born January 31, 1567 in Augsburg , † October 22, 1616 in Tübingen ; also Johann Jacob Haug ) was city ​​doctor in Heilbronn from 1593 to 1607 and then professor of medicine at the University of Tübingen .

Haug was hired as a city doctor in Heilbronn for three years. In 1596 his appointment was extended by four years, he remained in office for a total of 14 years. In 1597 and 1607 he wrote a plague ordinance for the city. When the University of Tübingen appointed him to the chair of medicine in 1607, it immediately recommended his successor to the city of Heilbronn, Johann David Mögling . Haug received a bonus of 15 Reichsgulden-Talers from the city of Heilbronn for his meritorious work.
