Johann Karl Stadler

Johann Karl Stadler (born January 28, 1871 in Reindorf ; † August 27, 1917 ) was an Austrian builder and architect .

Life

Stadler attended the three-year master craftsman school at the Vienna State Trade School , which he graduated in 1889. After a few years of practical experience, he obtained the master builder license and started his own business in 1904. In addition to the construction of residential buildings, he also acted as a building contractor. Stadler fell in World War I at the age of 46 , the place is unknown.

Johann Stadler was active only a few years before the First World War. His rental and residential buildings show secessionist decor and a mostly flat facade. Some idiosyncratic solutions anticipate the New Objectivity .
