Johann Lüneburg († 1619)
Johann Lüneburg (* 1570 in Lübeck ; † August 10, 1619 ibid) was a Lübeck councilor of the 17th century.
Life
Johann Lüneburg was the son of the Lübeck citizen Bernhard Lüneburg († 1579). From Easter 1590 he studied at the University of Rostock . Johann Lüneburg became a member of the influential circle society in 1599 and elected to the city council in 1601. From 1613 until his death he was the head of the Jakobikirche . His carved coat of arms can still be found today on the portal of the choir ascension created in 1619 by Heinrich Sextra in the style of the late Renaissance and on the oath chapel of the Lübeck lower court , today in the St. Anne's Museum . He owned half of the Lübschen Gut Groß Steinrade and Gut Roggenhorst along with a farm in Krempelsdorf. He died at Gut Roggenhorst.
