Johann Philipp von Gemmingen

Johann Philipp von Gemmingen (born December 5, 1729 in Neckarzimmern , † February 2, 1766 in Wimpfen ) was the landlord in Babstadt and Kälbertshausen .

Life

He was a son of Friedrich von Gemmingen (1691-1738) and Wilhelmine Leopoldine Rüdt von Collenberg († 1763). The father had acquired Babstadt in 1732 and Kälbertshausen, whose property Johann Philipp inherited.

From 1764 he was married to Dorothea Regina Eleonora von Stein zum Reichenstein (1744-1799). Only the son Ludwig Friedrich (1765-1816) emerged from the marriage. The widowed Dorothea Regina married Christoph Ferdinand III in 1767 . Friedrich von Degenfeld (1737–1812), to whom she gave birth to seven more children.
