Johann Rudolf Sinner (Schultheiss)
Johann Rudolf Sinner (baptized December 17, 1632 ; † April 4, 1708 ) was a Swiss statesman .
Johann Rudolf Sinner was a notary, became a hospital clerk in 1656, grand councilor in 1657, bailiff of Wangen an der Aare in 1668, ministerial councilor from 1679, salt director in 1683, was Welschseckelmeister from 1684 to 1690 and acting mayor of Bern from 1696 to 1708 in the even years . In the confusion of succession in Neuchâtel, he campaigned against French interests from 1694 to 1708 and favored the successful candidacy of Frederick I of Prussia . For this he received the hereditary title of imperial baron in 1706 .
