Johann Samuel Klein

Johann Samuel Klein (born January 22, 1748 in Bartfeld , today in Slovakia ; † December 10, 1820 in Göllnitz , today in Slovakia) was a historian and theologian. He studied in Hungary, in Rinteln and in Halle . In 1774 he became sub-rector in Eperjes , in 1783 pastor in Bartfeld, 1784 Protestant preacher in the German parish in Kaschau (now in Slovakia) and in 1790 pastor in Göllnitz.
