Johann Schweinacher

Johann Schweinacher (* around 1725 in Matrei in East Tyrol ; † March 16, 1793 in Landshut ) was an Austrian - German organ builder and founder of a family of organ builders.

Life

Johann Schweinacher married the daughter Maria Theresa of his late teacher Franz Mitterreither († 1752) as a journeyman on November 23, 1756 in St. Martin's Church and was his successor. His son, Joseph Schweinacher , whose marriage remained childless, handed the business over to Johann Ehrlich in 1843 .
