Johann Simon Weinmann the Younger (born November 23, 1583 ; † February 17, 1638 in Heilbronn ) was Mayor of Heilbronn from 1607 to 1633 .

Life

The son of the mayor, Simon Weinmann the Elder , had been a member of the small inner council ("von den burgern") since 1597, was tax master in 1602 and from 1606 mayor and thus chairman of the imperial court. From 1607 to 1633 he was mayor of Heilbronn .

Johann Simon Weinmann the Younger was married to Anna Maria Hornmold, a daughter of Syndicus Samuel Hornmold , and had two children with her: Anna Maria and Johann Georg. Anna Maria Weinmann later married the son of the mayor Georg Becht , namely Gregor Becht. Johann Georg Weinmann later married the daughter of Mayor Philipp Orth , namely Margarete Orth.

The coat of arms of the house Weinmann represents a bearded tenants with Hape in his raised right hand, on a three-Berg is standing. This crest is on the east side of the meat house seen in Heilbronn.
