Johann Sleker

Johann Sleker (actually Schleker ) (* in Gartz (Oder) in Pomerania; † 1629 in Stralsund ) was a German university professor and clergyman.

Johann Sleker was enrolled at the University of Rostock in May 1606 and received his master's degree here on October 22, 1607. A year later he was appointed professor of physics and metaphysics to succeed Erasmus Stockmann (1544–1608) . In the winter semester of 1617 he was elected rector of the university.

In December 1618 Slekerus was appointed archdeacon to St. Nikolai in Stralsund . In 1621 he became a pastor there.
