Appointed titular bishop of Symbalon ( Symbaliensis ) and auxiliary bishop in Hildesheim. In 1412 it is documented in the diocese of Breslau. It is possible that he came to Silesia on the recommendation of the Sagan abbot Ludolf, who headed the Augustinian monastery there. In the chronicle of the Saganer Stift he is referred to as an Augustinian hermit and a highly educated man. On July 8, 1420, he took in Leubus in the election of the Abbot Nicholas Constantin in part, on which it the next day Benediction undertook. The Breslau cathedral dean Konrad von Steinau, as well as several canons and nobles, were also present as episcopal commissioner . On the return journey from Saxony to Silesia, Johann Tylmann Wessel consecrated an altar in the church of the Marienstift in Chemnitz on July 5, 1422 . Since Abbot Ludolf von Sagan died on August 22, 1422, he took part in the election of his successor Heinrich Leslau on the day after the funeral. In 1423 he participated in the diocesan synod in Breslau , and in 1425 he consecrated the Liegnitz collegiate church to the Holy Grave . Other auxiliary bishop acts are documented for the years 1421 to 1424. In addition, many of his speeches and sermons have been preserved. He often denounced the prevailing evils. The last surviving sermon dates from 1424. A year later he consecrated the Liegnitz collegiate church. No further signs of life have been preserved. Since the titular diocese of Symbalon was newly occupied in 1431, he must have died this year at the latest.
