Johann Ulrich Pregizer II. (Also: Pregitzer; * July 10, 1611 in Tübingen ; † 1672 ibid) was pastor and professor of ethics and moral theology at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen .

Life

Johann Ulrich Pregizer II. Was the first of three recorded children of Johann Ulrich Pregizer I (1577–1656) and his wife Tabitha, b. Hesch (* 1589 in Urach, † 1641 in Tübingen), born.

In Tübingen Pregizer married Maria Barbara geb. Renz (* 1610 in Tübingen, † 1687 in Stuttgart). The marriage produced five children: Anna Tabitha (* 1639), Johann Ulrich III. (* 1647), Katharina Barbara (* 1648), Anna Elisabeth (* 1650) and Georg Thomas (* 1654).

After studying theology, which he completed with a doctorate in theology, Pregizer became a pastor and professor of ethics and moral theology at the University of Tübingen. The provincial ruler also assigned him the school supervision for southern Württemberg.
