Johann Wilhelm Hanne
Johann Wilhelm Hanne (born December 19, 1813 in Harber , today Hohenhameln , † November 21, 1889 in Hamburg-Eppendorf ) was a Protestant theologian .
Life
Hanne studied theology in Göttingen , Halle and Berlin . He privatized in Wolfenbüttel from 1837 to 1840 , then held lectures in Braunschweig until 1850 and became pastor in Betheln in 1851 . Because of his open agitation against the moral decline in the community, he was transferred to Salzhemmendorf in 1854 . In 1861 he was appointed professor for practical theology at the University of Greifswald and at the same time worked as a pastor at the St. Jakobi Church there .
His participation in the Protestant Association gave rise to all kinds of challenges. This also applies to his son Johannes Robert (1842–1923), who was declared incapable of preaching in 1871 by the Prussian church regiment and consequently also by the Saxon Ministry of Culture. It was not until 1874 that Karl Schwarz helped him to find a pastor in Waltershausen , and from 1879 he was pastor in Hamburg-Eppendorf . His son Kapitänleutnant Günther Hanne (born June 3, 1881 in Hamburg) died in the crash of the LZ 14 on September 9, 1913.
Hanne was married to Sophie, born in 1875. Balthasar (1834–1918), a daughter of the Gützkower pastor and later superintendent Johann Carl Balthasar (1784–1853).
