Johann von Waldow , also Johann the Younger von Waldow ; according to the list of bishops of Lebus: Johann VI. von Waldow , († March 5, 1424 ) was Bishop of Lebus from 1423 to 1424 .

Life

Johann came from the noble family von Waldow . He studied theology and canon law at the University of Bologna . After returning to the Lubusz he was archdeacon in Lebuser cathedral chapter and provost of Berlin, where he became a confidant of the Marquis, and from 1415 Elector Frederick I was. In 1415 he took part in the Council of Constance .

After the death of his brother Johann of the same name , he was elected by the Cathedral Chapter of Lebus on September 11, 1423 as his successor as Bishop of Lebus, but died on March 5, 1424.
