Johanna Westberg (born April 6, 1990 in Nacka ) is a Swedish handball player who belongs to the squad of the Swedish national team.
Career
Johanna Westberg started playing handball at Skuru IK . With Skuru she won the Swedish Youth Championship in 2009. With the women's team from Skuru, she ran on in the Elitserien and took part in the EHF Cup in the 2013/14 season . For the 2014/15 season Westberg moved to the Danish first division club Randers HK . Two years later she joined the league rivals Nykøbing Falster Håndboldklub . With Nykøbing Falster she won the Danish Championship in 2017 and the Danish Cup in 2018. From November 2018 to October 2019, she was on pause due to pregnancy.
Westberg has played 64 games for Sweden so far, in which she scored 116 goals. With Sweden, the back court player took part in the European Championships in 2012 and in the European Championships in 2016 .
Her twin sister Emelie Nykvist also plays handball.
