Johanna Wilk-Mutard

Johanna Wilk-Mutard (born July 9, 1935 in Vienna ) is an Austrian ballet dancer , actress , dance teacher and owner of a ballet school in Linz.

Training and dance engagements

After studying ballet at the ballet schools of the Vienna State Opera and the Graz Opera and passing the ballet matriculation examination , she was engaged as a dancer and soloist at the theaters in Graz, Klagenfurt , Karlsruhe and also at the Linz State Theater between 1952 and 1961 . From 1955 to 1959 she was a dancer and soloist with the Austrian Television Ballet , performing live on Austrian and German television .

1. Linz Ballet School and Ballet Institute under public law

In 1957 she opened the 1st Ballet School in Linz.

After passing the ballet trainer examination according to the Russian school, she started the Ballet Institute in 1975 as a vocational school with public rights, founded the Linz City Ballet in 1976 and organized the Linz Ballet Days for the first time in 1977. Members of the Show Dance Club Linz, which she founded, were able to win several Austrian and European championship titles between 1990 and 2004.
