Johannes Danzig

Johannes Danzig (born January 1, 1896 in Reppen , † June 26, 1945 in the Stalinogorsk camp in Novomoskowsk (Russia) ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

Born the son of a teacher , Danzig studied law in Berlin from 1917 to 1920 . During his studies in 1917 he became a member of the Germania Berlin fraternity . After his exams he became a lawyer in 1924 and had been a notary since 1933 . In 1930 he became a member of the NSDAP and was its local group leader in Schneidemühl . He was subdistrict head, Gaurerechtsstelleleiter and district chairman of the National Socialist lawyers. Danzig was also a member of the provincial parliament . In 1930 and 1931 he worked as a Gauredner . In 1933 he became district administrator in the district of Soldin . In 1939 he became Vice President of the Government in Schneidemühl. In 1940 he was head of the NSDAP district court in Schneidemühl. In 1945 he was taken prisoner by the Soviets, first in the Tula camp , then in the Stalinogorsk camp , where he was shot.
