Johannes German
Johannes Deutsch (born October 22, 1960 in Linz ) is an Austrian painter , graphic artist and media artist.
Live and act
From 1975 to 1980, German attended the higher education and master school for art and design at the HTBLA in Linz . From 1984 to 1988 he worked as curator at the Sigmund Freud Museum in Vienna.
In 1990 he accepted a scholarship from the Upper Austrian Provincial Cultural Council. From 1990 to 1992 he completed postgraduate studies at the Städelschule Institute for New Media at the State University of Fine Arts in Frankfurt .
His works are in numerous Austrian and several foreign public collections. He created works in the context of art in architecture and for art in public spaces and is the author of numerous media art projects.
Deutsch has been a member of the Forum Stadtpark in Graz since 1990 , of the artists' association MAERZ since 1993 and of the Künstlerhaus Wien since 1998 .
