Johannes Hagge

Johannes Jürgen Christian Hagge (born May 4, 1893 in Schleswig ; † January 10, 1964 there ) was a German politician ( CDU , later FDP ).

Life and work

After attending primary school , Hagge, who was of Protestant faith, completed an apprenticeship as a merchant. He started his own business in the food wholesale and retail trade.

Hagge was a city councilor in Schleswig from 1945 and also belonged to the district council in the Schleswig district .

From 1946 to 1950 Hagge was a member of the state parliament in Schleswig-Holstein , where he represented the constituency of Schleswig-South. In 1948 he became district administrator in the Schleswig district .

He belonged to the German Bundestag in its first legislative period ( 1949 to 1953) as a directly elected member of the constituency of Schleswig - Eckernförde . Originally elected for the CDU, he joined the FDP on June 17, 1953 . From 1954 to June 30, 1957 he was again a member of the state parliament and there deputy chairman of the judicial committee.
