Johannes Hendrik Veldhuijzen
Johannes Hendrik Veldhuijzen (born October 23, 1831 in Amsterdam ; † August 12, 1910 there ) was a Dutch genre and portrait painter and lithographer.
Johannes Hendrik Veldhuijzen was trained by his father, the painter Pieter Veldhuijzen. As a freelance artist, he worked in Amsterdam all his life.
His students included Theo Hanrath , Geo Poggenbeek and the twin brothers David Oyens and Pieter Oyens .
He showed his works at exhibitions: from 1853 to 1879 in Amsterdam and The Hague , 1855 and 1863 in Leeuwarden and 1881 in Zutphen . His paintings are in the collections of the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam .
