Johannes Mans (born May 18, 1958 in Bitburg ) is a municipal electoral officer (alternative list) and full-time mayor of the city of Radevormwald in the Oberbergisches Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia .

Mans grew up in Bettingen in Rhineland-Palatinate . After finishing school, he studied from 1981 to 1985 at the Social Pedagogical University in Saarbrücken . He completed his studies as a qualified social worker pedagogue. He then worked for the Caritas Association for the Trier region .

From 1991 to 1993, Mans took over the management of a youth welfare facility in Baden-Württemberg and became the foundation's board member and its educational director . For family reasons, he moved back to the Eifel and became the head of a care facility there. In 1998 Mans was appointed to the board of the sister association. The sister association is a free, non-profit social enterprise with over 24 facilities in five federal states with over 2,500 employees. He worked there for 13 years. In addition, he trained as a quality inspector for service companies .

In the 2013 federal election, Mans in constituency 203 (Bitburg), at that time still a member of the Free Voters , received only 2.4% of the first votes and 1.6% of the second votes.

In the local elections on September 13, 2015, he won with 52.69% of the votes cast in Radevormwald. Mans had applied for an advertisement on the Alternatives List.

Mans is married and has two sons.
