Johannes Reiter

Johannes Reiter (born April 22, 1944 in Beckingen - Haustadt ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian and emeritus professor for moral theology at the Catholic Theological Faculty of Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz .

Life

After the degree in engineering in Trier took riders at the Theological Faculty of Trier 1968, the study of theology to which he after a period of study at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich ended with a diploma. This was followed by the doctorate to Dr. theol. in Trier 1977 and 1983 the habilitation in moral theology in Mainz. In 1984 he was offered the C4 chair for moral theology at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz.
