Johannes Rodatz

Johannes Rodatz (born October 4, 1905 in Hamburg ; † unknown, after 1972 ) was a German National Socialist functionary.

Live and act

Rodatz was a chemical salesman, joined the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP) in 1928 and was its district chairman in Lüneburg . In 1934 he became regional leader of the Hitler Youth and head of Department H in the Reich Youth Leadership (department youth hostels and youth hiking) in Berlin .

As leader of the Reich Association for German Youth Hostels , Head of Office, Reich Youth Leader and Obergebietsführer he ran for the Reichstag election on March 29, 1936, but received no mandate. At that time he lived in Berlin-Zehlendorf , Winfriedstrasse 17.

Federal Republic

Rodatz was in Lüneburg "District Chairman Lüneburg-Land" of the Socialist Reich Party (SRP). After they were banned, he became a member of the German Reich Party (DRP), for which he ran for the Lower Saxony state parliament in 1957 , and of the National Democratic Party of Germany (NPD), for which he ran for the Bundestag in 1969 and 1972 .

Rodatz's writings Education through Experience (Limpert, Berlin 1938) and Geistiges Soldatentum (Holzner, Tilsit 1942) were placed on the list of literature to be segregated in the Soviet occupation zone after the end of the Second World War .
