Johannes Rupp , also Johan Rupp (* August 7, 1864 in ranks ; † July 24, 1943 ibid) was a Baden farmer, mayor and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Rupp attended the elementary school in series from 1871 to 1874 and the higher middle school in Sinsheim until 1879 . He served from 1884 to 1887 with the 1st Baden Leibgrenadier Regiment No. 109 in Karlsruhe and in 1887 became a non-commissioned officer . From 1888 he was a farmer and from 1900 mayor in ranks.

From 1907 to 1918 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Grand Duchy of Baden  13 ( Bretten , Sinsheim ) and the Federation of Farmers .

Rupp's son Johannes (1903–1978) was a member of the Reichstag for the NSDAP from 1930 to 1933 .
