Johannes Stiegelmeyer
Johannes Stiegelmeyer (also: Johann Stiegelmeyer ; and Johannes Theodor Stiegelmeyer ; born July 29, 1874 in Rödinghausen ; † April 7, 1943 in Hanover ) was a German manufacturer and inventor .

John Stiegelmeyer began in 1899, first in a small workshop in his home town Roedinghausen with the production of steel - wire mattresses . In the following year, he relocated production to Herford , where he had his company entered in the trade register on November 1, 1900 and thus founded the furniture company of the Stiegelmeyer Group, which is still a family business (as of December 2016) .
For the machine and wire goods factory "Selbsthülfe" Theodor Stiegelmeyer , which is operated in Wülfel near Hanover, the businessman Stiegelmeyer , who lives in Wülfel, granted Fritz Ristein, who also lived there, power of attorney in 1904 .
In 1918, Stiegelmeyerstraße in Wülfel was named after the manufacturer who also ran a factory there for the production of wire goods.
On May 11, 1937 Stiegelmeyer reported under the term Rohrfoermiger Einschlagduebel a patent with the number DE 734 048 C from a GmbH guided Wülfeler Rivet factory at.
Stiegelmeyer died on April 7, 1943.
