Johannes Wasmuth (politician)

Johannes Heinrich Wasmuth (also: Waßmuth) (born August 9, 1904 in Wolfhagen ; † January 8, 1999 ) was a farmer on the farm that he took over from his parents. Like his father, he worked as a butcher for several years. He was also a member of the ( CDU ) and politically active.

After the war he was one of the founding members of the Christian men's association and the local CDU association in Wolfhagen. He was elected in 1946 by the CDU district association Wolfhagen as a member of the advisory state committee (Greater Hesse) . For personal reasons, he did not accept this candidacy. As a member of the city ​​council in Wolfhagen, he was still active.
