John-Lee Augustyn
John-Lee Augustyn (born August 10, 1986 in Kimberley , South Africa ) is a retired South African cyclist .
John-Lee Augustyn began his career in 2005 with the South African Continental Team Konica Minolta . In his second season he was national U23 road racing champion. At the road cycling world championships in Salzburg , he finished 37th in the road race in the U23 class. He then switched to the Professional Continental Team Barloworld . From 2010 to 2011 he was for the team Sky ProCycling in the UCI World Tour go. In May 2012, Augustyn ended his career as a professional cyclist with Team Utensilnord after having had a hip operation. In 2014 he returned to cycling for the MTN Qhubeka team and in May 2014 he announced the end of his career.
