Egestorf (Süntel) is a district of the town of Bad Münder am Deister and is located in the Hameln-Pyrmont district in Lower Saxony .

The municipality of Egestorf am Süntel (official name of the municipality) was incorporated into the town of Bad Münder am Deister on January 1, 1973. In the last censuses before incorporation, Egestorf had 272 (June 6, 1961) and 373 inhabitants (May 27, 1970).

In addition to the SC Egestorf / Süntel shooting club, Egestorf also has a local volunteer fire brigade .
