Geographical location

Rohrsen is located in the northern area of the city of Bad Münder am Deister , in the Weser Uplands . To the north of the village is the district of Schaumburg , in the southwest of the neighboring town of Beber and in the west of the Süntel . The federal highway 442 runs from Bad Münder to the federal highway 2 connection near Lauenau .

The place was first mentioned in a document in 1255.

The village Rohrsen was united on January 1, 1973 through the regional reform as one of 16 districts to the municipality of Bad Münder.
