Career

He made two appearances in competitive games for the first team: at the end of April 1892 he was a right half-forward in a game of football Alliance against Grimsby Town (final score 1: 1) for the squad, barely a year later he played for the club, which has now been included in the Football League First Division , in an away game with the Bolton Wanderers (1: 3) as a right runner . In a list of the reserve team, he was last found in March 1893 on the occasion of a game in the Midland Alliance .

In September 1893 he assisted St. Mark's in a game at Park-hill and overwhelmed the defense of the home team with "his quick and tricky runs" and was involved in three out of five goals.
