John Gerard Noonan
John Gerard Noonan (born February 26, 1951 in Limerick ) is an Irish-American clergyman and Bishop of Orlando .
Life
John Gerard Noonan was ordained a priest on September 23, 1983 .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on June 21, 2005 auxiliary bishop in Miami and titular bishop of Bonusta . The Archbishop of Miami, John Clement Favalora , donated him episcopal ordination on August 24 of the same year ; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishops in Miami Agustín Román and Felipe de Jesús Estévez .
He was named Bishop of Orlando on October 23, 2010, and inducted into office on December 16 of the same year.
