John Logan Jenkins III (born March 6, 1991 in Gallatin , Tennessee ) is an American basketball player who plays shooting guard at a height of 1.93 m . He is currently under contract with the New York Knicks in the NBA .
Career
He played his college career for the team at Vanderbilt University , the Commodores , from 2009 to 2012. In his junior season there he was the top scorer of the Southeastern Conference . In the 2012 NBA draft , he was selected in 23rd place by the Atlanta Hawks and was there under contract until 2015. In the summer of 2015 he joined the Dallas Mavericks and in 2016 the Phoenix Suns . He is currently a free agent .
