John Joseph Glynn

John Joseph Glynn (born August 6, 1926 in Boston , † August 23, 2004 in Milton ) was auxiliary bishop in the US military ordinariate .

Life

John Joseph Glynn was ordained a priest on April 11, 1951 . On December 10, 1991, John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in the US military ordinariate and titular bishop of Monteverde .

The Pope personally consecrated him bishop on January 6 of the next year ; Co-consecrators were Giovanni Battista Re , substitute for the State Secretariat , and Josip Uhač , Secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples .

On August 13, 2002, his age-related resignation was accepted.
