John Michael Beahen
John Michael Beahen (born February 4, 1922 in Ottawa , † March 14, 1988 in Sault Ste. Marie ) was a Canadian clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Ottawa .
Life
John Michael Beahen received on 15 June 1946, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
Pope Paul VI appointed him on May 11, 1977 . as titular bishop of Ploaghe and auxiliary bishop in Ottawa. The Archbishop of Ottawa, Joseph-Aurèle Plourde , donated him and Gilles Bélisle the episcopal ordination on June 21 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of London , Gerald Emmett Carter , and the Archbishop of Rimouski , Gilles Ouellet PME .
