John Michael Quinn
John Michael Quinn (born December 17, 1945 in Detroit ) is Bishop of Winona .
Life
John Michael Quinn was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Detroit on March 17, 1972 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him on July 7, 2003 auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Detroit and titular bishop of Ressiana . The Archbishop of Detroit, Cardinal Adam Joseph Maida , donated him episcopal ordination on August 12 of the same year ; Co-consecrators were Curia Cardinal Edmund Casimir Szoka and Walter Joseph Schoenherr , auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Detroit.
On October 15, 2008, he was appointed coadjutor of the Diocese of Winona. With the age-related resignation of Bernard Joseph Harrington on May 7, 2009, Quinn succeeded him as Bishop of Winona.
