John Michael Newman (born April 24, 1910 in Ottawa , Ontario ; † April 17, 1967 ) was a Canadian ice hockey player who played nine games for the Detroit Falcons in the National Hockey League in the course of his active career between 1928 and 1940 Has contested the left winger's position . Career

Newman played until 1928, first in his hometown of Ottawa in the Canadian province of Ontario , where he worked for the Ottawa Shamrocks in the Ottawa City Hockey League aground before he is to season 1929/30 for the next four years the Detroit Olympics joined, in the International Hockey League were active. Newman died in April 1967 a week before his 57th birthday.
