John Patrick Crowley

John Patrick Crowley (born June 23, 1941 in Newbury ) is an English clergyman and Roman Catholic old bishop of Middlesbrough .

Life

John Patrick Crowley was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Westminster on June 12, 1965 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Auxiliary Bishop in Westminster and Titular Bishop of Thala on October 31, 1986 . The Archbishop of Westminster, George Basil Cardinal Hume OSB , donated him episcopal ordination on December 8 of the same year ; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishops in Westminster Gerald Mahon MHM and Victor Guazzelli .

On November 3, 1992, he was appointed Bishop of Middlesbrough . He resigned from his office on May 3, 2007.
