Jean Alix Verrier (born July 10, 1931 in Latiboliere ) is former bishop of Les Cayes .
Life
Jean Alix Verrier was ordained a priest on July 13, 1958 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Coadjutor Bishop of Les Cayes on December 21, 1985 . The Apostolic Nuncio in Haiti , Paolo Romeo , donated him episcopal ordination on March 9 of the next year ; Co - consecrators were Jean-Jacques Claudius Angénor , Bishop of Les Cayes, and Joseph Willy Romélus , Bishop of Jérémie .
After Jean-Jacques Claudius Angénor's resignation, he succeeded him on April 9, 1988 as Bishop of Les Cayes. On March 9, 2009, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
