John Paul (born April 21, 1993 in Lybster ) is a former Scottish track cyclist .
Athletic career
In Delhi , at the Commonwealth Games 2010 , the Scottish team, consisting of John Paul, Callum Skinner and Chris Pritchard, finished fourth in the team sprint . In 2011 Paul won the sprint title at the Junior World Railroad Championships in Moscow . In the same year he was two-time junior European champion in sprint and keirin . From 2012 he started in the elite; at the national track championships, he was seventh in the sprint and ninth in the keirin. At the World Cup in Guadalajara , she finished third in the team sprint with Lewis Oliva and Callum Skinner.
In 2013 Paul was removed from the British Cycling Academy Program because he had not met the sporting requirements in the run-up to the 2014 Commonwealth Games . In 2015 he was nominated for the UEC European Track Championships for Juniors / U23 , but could not place himself on a top rank. He then ended his cycling career.
