Johnathon "Johnny" Forward (born September 24, 1986 in Corner Brook ) is a Canadian biathlete .

Johnny Forward lives in Canmore . He studied at the University of Alberta at Camrose and completed a BA in sports. He has been biathlon since 2003 and was part of the university's biathlon team, the Vikings , during his student days , now for Canmore Nordic . His only competitions so far outside North America played Forward at the Winter Universiade 2007 in Turin on the routes of the Olympic Winter Games last year in Cesana San Sicario . The Canadian finished 42nd in the individual, 48th in the sprint, 41st in the pursuit and fifth in the relay. The next major event was the North American Championships in the 2008 summer biathlon in Canmore. On roller skis he came 18th in the individual, was 21st in the sprint and did not finish in the pursuit race. At the North American Championships in 2009 in Valcartier , he was 27th in the individual and 26th in the sprint. It was also the Canadian Championships , where he started in 2010 and 2011 .
