The Johnson Col is a mountain pass in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the central part of the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains , it is 3 km west-southwest of Mount Farrell .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1957 to 1959. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1961 after Earl Frank Johnson (1934-2010), plumber on the Amundsen-Scott- South Pole Station in 1957.
