Jon Davison

Jon Davison (born July 21, 1949 in Haddonfield , New Jersey ) is an American film producer .

Life

Davison studied at New York University under Martin Scorsese, among others . He moved to Los Angeles and joined Roger Corman's film company New World Pictures in 1972 . There he was initially responsible for public relations , but then took on other tasks. Among other things, he was a second unit director for rock 'n' roll high school and supervised several films as a producer, including Ron Howard's feature film debut . In 1980 he left New World Pictures and began working as a freelance producer.

Since retiring from the film business, Davison has lived on a ranch in Colorado.
