Jon Favreau (speech writer)
Jonathan E. "Jon" Favreau (born June 6, 1981 in Winchester , Massachusetts ) is an American ghostwriter. He was the speechwriter for US President Barack Obama .
Favreau grew up in Massachusetts. He studied political science and sociology at Holy Cross College in Worcester . In 2004 he supported the campaign of then-presidential candidate John Kerry . From 2005 to 2013 he was part of Barack Obama's team and has been its chief clerk since 2007.
Since 2016 he runs with Jon Lovett and Tommy Vietor , the company Crooked Media , podcasts over politics and the scandals of US President Donald Trump released.
