Jon Hazilla

Jon Hazilla (* 1956 ) is an American jazz - drummer and university teacher.

Live and act

Hazilla studied with Max Roach , Joe Morello, and John Riley ; he worked on Ran Blake's 1986 album Short Life of Barbara Monk ( Soul Note ). In the late 1980s he played as a session musician for Cadence Jazz Records and in 1987 in the formation Cadence All Stars with Ernie Krivda , Glenn Wilson , Rory Stewart and others. a. In 1987 there was also a first album, Chicplacity , with Ray Drummond and John Hicks ; 1994 the album The Bitten Moon for Cadence , on which James Williams and Ray Drummond participated.
