Jonas Søndberg Thorsen (born April 19, 1990 in Skæring ) is a Danish football player . The midfielder is under contract with AC Horsens . He also ran for Danish junior national teams.

Career

society

Thorsen started playing football at Hjørtshøj-Egå IF and later moved to Aarhus GF . In 2009 he signed his first contract for a professional club with Viborg FF and ran on September 6, 2009 in a 1-0 win on the fifth match day of the second division season 2009/10 against Lyngby BK in the men's area. In his first season in the men's division, he completed 24 missions and finished seventh in the table with Viborg FF in the Danish second division. After an eleventh and a fourth place, they were promoted to the super league in the 2012/13 season with the second division championship . In this he came to 18 missions and rose immediately back to the second division with Viborg FF at the end of the 2013/14 season ; In 2015 , the Viborg team rose again to the super league. In the first year after being promoted again, Thorsen managed to stay up, but Viborg rose again in 2017 from the super league.

In the summer of 2017, Thorsen moved to AC Horsens and finished last in the table with the club in the championship round of the 2017/18 season .

For the 2018/19 season, Thorsen moved to Germany for Eintracht Braunschweig, who had been relegated to the third division , and signed a contract until 2020 with an option for another year. There he could not prevail in midfield and only played 14 league games.

In favor of a move to his old club Horsens, the club and players agreed to terminate the contract in summer 2019. Jonas Thorsen signed a three-year contract with AC Horsens.

National team

Thorsen appeared four times for the Danish U19 national team and twice for the Danish U20 selection.
