Jonatan Johansson (snowboarder)
Jonatan Johansson (born March 7, 1980 in Sollentuna , Stockholm County ; † March 12, 2006 in Lake Placid , New York ) was a Swedish snowboarder .
Johansson finished twelfth in snowboard cross at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin . In 2005 he was Swedish champion and also took first place at the Finnish national championship.
During training before the snowboard cross world cup race in Lake Placid , Johansson broke a cervical vertebra in a serious fall and died a little later from his injuries.
