Jonathan "Jock" Paget (born November 17, 1983 in Warkworth ) is a New Zealand eventing rider .

Career

Despite his family's enthusiasm for horses, he played rugby in his youth and didn't start eventing until he was 20.

During his time in Australia, he worked for Kevin McNab for three years . He then accepted an offer from Frances Stead and moved back to New Zealand. He moved to England three years later.

Private

Paget comes from an equestrian family. His family moved to Sydney when Paget was five years old. He lives in Surrey, UK .

First of all, Paget and Clifton Promise also won the 2013 Badminton Horse Trials . However, as reserpine was found in the horse's blood , the victory was revoked. According to the final judgment of the World Equestrian Federation FEI , the find was due to a contamination in a supplement, the rider was to be acquitted of any doping allegations.
