Jonathan Soto , full name Jonathan Daniel Soto Da Luz , (born October 4, 1988 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

The 1.94 meter tall offensive player belonged to the first division squad of the Montevideo Wanderers in the early stages of his career . There he came in the 2008/09 season during the Apertura 2008 to three appearances as a substitute in the Primera División . In the following two seasons he ran for Club Atlético Cerro in a total of 34 top division games and scored seven goals. He also played two games in the Copa Libertadores . In July 2011 he then moved to league competitor Fénix . In addition to four substitutions during Apertura 2011, there are also two games in the Copa Sudamericana for him. A loan to Atenas followed in February 2012 , which ended after the 2012 Clausura. With regard to the next stations, the sources are inconsistent. For example, a mission (one goal) at the Argentine club Deportivo Paraguayo is reported for him , but Cerro Largo FC is also managed as an employer. He has been under contract with El Tanque Sisley since January 2013 . There he played seven first division games until the end of the round, where he came on as a substitute. He then moved to the second division club Atlético Torque in 2013 , for which he appeared ten times in the Segunda División and scored one goal in the 2013/14 season . As early as March 2014, however, it was again listed as an exit with an unknown destination by the Montevideans. In August 2014 he joined Villa Española . For the Montevideans, he played 13 second division games in the Apertura and scored five goals. In January 2015 he continued his career at LDU Portoviejo in Ecuador. There he scored six league goals. At the beginning of August 2015 he returned to Uruguay and tied himself to the second division club Huracán FC . With the Montevideans he was used in six league games (no goal). At the beginning of 2016 he joined UAI Urquiza in the Argentine Primera B Metropolitana . There he was used in eleven league games (two goals). At the end of July 2016, he moved to Club Atlético Miter in Santiago del Estero and played twelve games (no goal) in Torneo Argentino A. In early February 2017, the Uruguayan first division club Plaza Colonia signed him , for whom he played twice (no goal) in the Primera División . Since mid-July 2017 he has continued his career in Guatemala at Deportivo Carchá .
