The Alþýðufylkingin ( German : Popular Front of Iceland , party letter R ) is a small party in Iceland .
history
The party was founded on February 18, 2013 in Reykjavík . Þorvaldur Þorvaldsson became party chairman .
When she ran for the 2013 parliamentary election for the first time , the party received about 0.1 percent of the vote and thus did not receive a seat in the national parliament Althing . Even in the early elections in 2016 and 2017 , the party was unable to move into the Althing with 0.3 percent (2016) and 0.19 percent (2017), respectively.
