The Jones Glacier is a 10 km long and 8 km wide glacier in the East Antarctic Kaiser Wilhelm II Land . It flows from the Antarctic Ice Sheet in a northerly direction and joins the Davissee east of Krause Point .
Aerial photographs of the US American Operation Highjump (1946–1947) were used to map it. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names renamed it in 1955 after the Ensign Teddy E. Jones of the reserve forces of the United States Navy , who in Operation Windmill (1947-1948) as secretary and assistant at the establishment of astronomical observation stations along this stretch of coastline and the Budd and Knox Coast was involved.
