Jorge Iván Estrada Manja (born October 16, 1983 in Culiacán , Sinaloa, Mexico ), also known by the nickname Guty , is a Mexican football player on the position of defender .

career

Estrada began his career in the junior division of the Dorados de Sinaloa , the most important football club in his home state Sinaloa. With the Dorados he also received his first professional contract , for which Estrada completed a total of 71 stakes in points between 2003 and 2006 and scored one goal. The Apertura 2006 he spent with the Tiburones Rojos Veracruz , for which he completed only six league stakes and nine times for their farm team Tiburones Rojos Coatzacoalcos playing in the second-rate Primera División 'A' .

In early 2007 Estrada moved to Club Santos Laguna , where he was under contract for the next six and a half years. During this time he played 202 matches (six goals) and won the Mexican soccer championship twice with the Guerreros ( Clausura 2008 and Clausura 2012 ) .

During his time at Santos Laguna, he also made the leap to the Mexican national football team , for which he came to his only international appearance on October 12, 2010 against Venezuela . Unfortunately, this ended after just 24 minutes because he was unable to continue playing after a foul by Venezuelan defender Gabriel Cichero and had to be hospitalized.

After a six-month stopover at CF Pachuca , Estrada moved to the UANL Tigres in early 2014 , where he is currently (early 2017) under contract. With the Tigres he won two further championship titles in the Apertura 2015 and the Apertura 2016 .
